Shipping Information
Here at Birdee & Star we aim to process your orders as swiftly as possible so that you can enjoy your new shinies sooner!
Birdee & Star is a one-woman show and I always endeavour to post your orders quickly. I have a processing time in place as aside from my biz, I am also a full-time, single Mum of two beautiful boys. When Mum-duty calls everything else gets put on hold as I am sure you can appreciate.
PROCESSING TIME
Our processing turnaround time is approximately 2 - 7 business days (not including public holidays and weekends) before your order leaves our premises. Made to order items have a 5 - 10 business day turnaround. (If your order contains made to order designs, your whole order/s will be shipped once they are complete.)
During peak shopping times (like Mother's Day, Christmas etc.) launches and sales, please allow additional time for your order to be processed due to increased demand.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING
We ship all orders within Australia via Express Post with tracking included. We charge a flatrate of only $10 per order to cover postage and handling. (Processing time for orders still applies, Express Post just means it will take less time to arrive when it’s ready to go!)
Once your order has been shipped, we shall send your tracking number to you so that you can follow your order's journey. Time to stalk that letterbox people!
Also for added piece of mind, you can also select the signature on delivery option. It’s an additional $3 on top of the usual express post delivery. This is recommended for large orders or if you are concerned about receiving your order safely.

However if you live in Australia and make a purchase of $150 or more in one transaction, your order will ship to you via Express Post for FREE! Bonus! (Processing time still applies as mentioned above)
If you live in Mount Crosby, Karana Downs, Anstead, Bellbowrie, Moggill, Pullenvale or Pinjarra Hills we can offer you FREE local delivery! Just enter code 4070 at checkout to waive the shipping fee! (Please note this offer only applies to local addresses in these areas and not PO Boxes)
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We ship all International orders via standard Air Mail at a flat rate ($25AUD for most countries, $15AUD for New Zealand) which includes tracking via Airmail for added piece of mind.
And if you spend more than $150AUD in one transaction your order will ship for FREE!
Delivery time depends on your country, but on average we have found anywhere from 7-21 days for seems to be commonplace.
Some countries (not many) unfortunately don’t offer tracking services. If this is your country, please contact me for an individual quote.
Also please bear in mind that any additional import taxes are the customers responsibility. Some countries charge additional fees to purchase from Australia. Please check your local postal service for more information.
***Please note that we currently DO NOT SHIP to the UK and EU due to recent VAT changes. I hope to ship there again if there is enough interest or via a stockist.***
COMBINING ORDERS
If you place more than one order in a 24 hour period and wish to combine shipping, please enter the discount code COMBINEME at checkout. Also please leave your exisiting order number in the comment section so that we know which orders to combine.

In the very unlikely event that your package is damaged or lost, unfortunately this is not the responsibility of Birdee & Star. We take every measure we can to ensure that your package reaches you safely but we cannot control what happens to it once it leaves us.
At times postage can take longer than expected due to circumstances beyond our control. If concerned, please check the status of your tracking number (if you have one) to see if there have been any updates given by Australia Post.
That being said, we care deeply about our customers so please contact us if you have any concerns and we shall help where we can.
PACKAGING
We care deeply about the environment and are always working on improving our sustainable packaging. All orders are shipped with sustainable product packaging (often made from recycled materials or card) that are also recyclable. We try to steer away from using excess non-recyclable products as much as possible.
Your order with arrive to you wrapped securely in tissue paper or a paper bag inside a cardboard post box. We seal the box with eco friendly tape from Marketing Tape and the box itself can be reused and recycled. Your box will be shipped in a compostable satchel from Heropack to keep your goodies protected from the elements. (You can also reuse your satchel!)
We shall always pack your purchase with love and care for you to enjoy.
